When you create an account and use FlightPack, we collect:
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon in the United States. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.
We use PostHogfor product analytics. Analytics are consent-gated — you can opt out from the desktop app settings. When enabled, we collect anonymous usage data with a random install ID. No personally identifiable information is sent to PostHog.
We use Sentry for crash reporting. Like analytics, this is consent-gated. Crash reports contain technical diagnostic information but no personally identifiable information.
You control the visibility of each flight. By default, flights are private. When you make a flight public, its telemetry data and landing score become visible to anyone with the link. You can make a flight private again at any time.
We may use anonymized, aggregated statistics (such as flight counts, popular airports, and score distributions) for product features and marketing. This data cannot be used to identify individual users.
You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings page. Account deletion cascades across all tables: flights, telemetry points, flight events, sessions, and feedback. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
We do not share your data with third parties beyond the services listed above (PostHog for analytics, Sentry for crash reporting). Both are consent-gated.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
